About the position

The Division of Computer Systems Engineering of the University of Glamorgan offers a PhD studentship on Effective trade-offs for network command and control Programme of Research. The aim of the project is to create a technology demonstrator that will illustrate how a multi-attribute utility model for balance of investment and return on investment calculations for network management and network security can be utilised to enhance capability in a cost effective manner.

Applications are invited, from highly motivated individuals with a good first degree (normally 2:1 or higher) in the relevant subject, for a full-time PhD position. The studentship is full-time for 3 years, and has a bursary of £14K, rising annually to £16K in the final year.
